Pratumnak Pattaya Hill - Hotels near the beach

Pattaya is composed of many smaller parts as Naklua, and Wongamat Jomrien Pratumnak.

Until 10 years ago Pratumnak was really just a piece of land between Pattaya and Jomtien. Now is one of the most sought-after property locations in Pattaya.

Why? Being situated on a hill between Pattaya and Jomtien beach is an island Pratumnak offering sandy beaches with views of Koh Larn. Today, many people choose to stay here on vacationenjoy the beach with the hassle of Pattaya. One could say that the village community Pratumnak own. Still close enough to Pattaya to enjoy all the fun and excitement, but a haven to relax in.

Pratumnak has many modern apartments and houses for rent and for sale with views of the islands. Also what makes Pratumnak exclusive, the Royal Cliff Resort, which has royal patronage.

Something worth considering, because Pratumnak has become so popular there is aMany of the construction sites of new apartments. The lease be sure to ask if there is construction nearby. Please do not Pratumnak is a great site, why are not there, but the hot spots of the building.

interesting points of reference include Buddha Hill and the point of view. La Vista is where every picture I've ever seen is from Pattaya Bay. From here you can see the sun in the sea. Better get there at about 18:05. Why06:05? Why at 6:00 PM Thai anthem played and you have to stand and listen with respect. If you walk and talk, they expect to be shouted from one of the sailors there. The Royal Thai Navy has a weather station there. Even at the top of the lookout is the statue of Prince Abhakara Kiartiwongse. The father of modern Thai Navy. He studied naval warfare in Britain in the 19th century.

Pratumnak is easily accessible. Of WalkingStreet in Pattaya is just a few minutes of motorbike taxi. Or you can walk to the lighthouse Bali Hi. Jomtien turn left up the road and your Thappraya there. Thappraya road is the main road that links Jomtien Pattaya. In fact, many years ago the main road to Pattaya. But that was many years ago. Pattaya is now beyond recognition since then.

Although considered a relatively exclusive area rental properties are notscandalous. With studio apartments starting from 16,000 baht to 40,000 baht a month rent.
Moving is easy as many baht buses run back and forth from Pattaya. Or rent a bike! But wear a helmet. Just because you're on vacation does not mean you can forget basic road safety.

If you plan to stay in Pattaya Pratumnak worth considering.

Along the Bourbon Trail - Journey to Heaven Hill Distillery in Bardstown, KY

I recently purchased the book "1000 Places to see before you Die by Patricia Schultz as one of the map of my future. I'm going to try and work my way through the book to see and do as much as I can before the big dirt PAN.

I decided to start a search for items closer to my home in Louisville, "The Bourbon Trail" (page 631 - The elements are not numbered).

I got up very early Friday morning to drive the 45 miles to Bardstown. Pretty soonthat the road was crowded with people traveling for work. I noticed that while they were traveling in the direction of misery, I was going to drink bourbon. Life is suddenly good.

Pull in Bardstown struck me that I really did not know where to go. So I stopped at the town square and a map of the distilleries around Bardstown. Reading the board I learned that more than 50 acres in Nelson County. I just looked for the nearest distillery, which was found to be Heaven Hill, and ledover.

The first thing I saw in the sky Hill made me laugh. On the door was a sticker announcing that the sky Hill was featured in "1000 places to see before you die." What a great way to start my research!

I arrived at Heaven Hill in 09:45 and I learned that the visit would begin at 10:00. I signed up and looked around for the exhibition space of time.

The first event of the tour was a 13-minute film in the history of Bourbon and Heaven Hilloperation of the distillery today. We then headed across the street to a storage building and walked through the reeds.

We were not allowed to take pictures for fear of cameras and sparks the beginning of a fire. They are understandably afraid of fire had one of the worst fires in the history of the field on 07/11/1996. The plant was almost completely destroyed and several warehouses of the company were completely destroyed. More than 90,000gallons of alcohol were lost. I remember the fire on television at this time. The most vivid memory I have is watching the burning whiskey pouring a hill and turn another store.

There are about 20 of these huge stores are all 7 overlapping planes and order, left to right and from top to bottom with barrels of whiskey.

There have been at the production area, but told us everything about the production of whiskey, when we saw the beautiful grounds.

We concludedtour with a tasting room to form a bourbon barrel. We tried two Bourbons, 10 years, Evan Williams and Elijah Craig 18. Now I'm not a big drinker of bourbon, but you can definitely tell the difference between the two. The Bourbon was much smoother and easier for the throat.

After leaving Heaven Hill walked the streets of downtown Bardstown and took a bite to eat at the Old Talbott Tavern before returning to the real world.

Ieasy mark closed this item, but I want to go back and some other distillery tour and maybe take a friend or two. Probably.

Here are some interesting facts and figures I learned:

Heaven Hill Bourbon is aged for a minimum of four years in new charred white oak barrels.

Elijah Craig Bourbon is available in 12 years or 18 years variants.

Bourbon is aged longer, the flavor takes the forest.

Carbonized caramel woodenslowly dissolve in the rest of Whiskey.

Heaven Hill Distilleries Carbon Bourbon filter all their prior to bottling, a process that purifies the product and "soft style" Single Sky Hill Bourbon easy to drink, either directly or with your favorite mixer.

Heaven Hill Distilleries in December 2002 in the United States filled 4.5-millionth new charred white oak barrels with fine Kentucky bourbon. For a better idea that that volume of Bourbonrepresents, consider the following:

2,400 miles from White oak casks.

385,000 hectares of maize.

38.5 million bushels of wheat harvest.

12.8 million tons of cereals such as rye and barley.

385 million gallons of Bourbon.

160.5 million cases of Bourbon.

1.9 billion bottles of Bourbon.

Your European Vacation - A Guide To Choosing European Vacation Packages

What do you look for in a European vacation? The romance of a Paris vacation, the buzz of some time in London, England or the relaxation and quiet peace of an alpine valley? The truth is that, with a European vacation package, you can have all of this and more.

Europe is a very diverse continent and the range of possible European vacations reflects this. In each European country you can choose from the buzz of a city visit or the relaxation of the countryside. Transport links are good and it's easy to hop from country to country by plane, by train or by road. This article sets out to help you plan a European vacation that suits you.

European vacation - travel tips for cheap European tours

If you want to travel Europe on a low budget then the two key issues are time and flexibility. There are now many cheap European airlines who offer budget airfares for travel between European countries. Almost without exception they offer an excellent service, and their prices are remarkably low. But you do need to be flexible - both in your choice of destination and in your travel schedule timings.

European budget airlines often fly between the less popular airports and may only operate one flight a day. This means that if you miss a flight or if your flight is cancelled then you could face a long wait in a rather out of the way town or provincial airport.

The Irish airline, Ryanair, can be used as an example. Their flight billed as Glasgow to Paris departs from a town called Prestwick - about forty miles from Glasgow and arrives at Beauvais, a French town about sixty miles from Paris. Coach services are provided and the service is good but you will need to add at least an hour to your journey at either end. Getting stranded late at night in Beauvais or Prestwick is not likely to be fun. You can find a list of cheap European airlines and some of their routes on the websites listed below.

If you would rather travel to Europe on a planned European Vacation Package then you will have other issues to contend with. Planned European vacation packages can sometimes be rather sterile and predictable. Some of them may almost have the effect of insulating you against anything European! The notion of being herded along on like cattle among a mass of bemused fellow travellers is not likely to appeal to many of us.

Try to find a package that will allow you the benefits of having your travel and accommodation organised but still leave time for you to branch off on your own if you want to.

Travel Europe and enjoy it. There is no right or wrong approach - simply work out what suits you and your lifestyle best. You will find plenty of choice in every European country. If you've never taken a European vacation then please do consider it - the possibilities are almost limitless.

Holiday Apartment Rental - Tarragona, Spain - Experience the Delights of the Mediterranean Coast

Tarragona - Where is it?

Have you ever tried booking a private holiday apartment rental or a holiday villa rental in Spain direct for your annual vacation? There is a vast choice of self-catering properties available throughout Spain but today I am looking at the city of Tarragona which is located on the Mediterranean coast, sixty miles south-west of Barcelona, in the region of Catalonia. A self-catering villa or apartment vacation rental in Tarragona booked direct with the private owners can be a relatively inexpensive place to stay while visiting Catalonia.

Weather

Modern Tarragona has a population of around 120,000 and it is the capital of the province of the same name. Tarragona is a popular weekend break destination for many Europeans but is also a good place to stay for longer holidays due to the variety of sights, beaches, leisure pursuits and holiday apartment rental and holiday villa rental Spain available. The climate in Tarragona is welcoming all year round with temperatures as high as 28 degrees Centigrade during the summer months and average temperatures of 7-10 degrees Centigrade during the winter.

Tourist attractions

There are many tourist attractions for visitors who book a holiday apartment rental or a villa vacation rental in Tarragona. History fans will be interested to know that in the year 2000, the city of Tarragona was designated a World Heritage site by UNESCO because of its wealth of archaeological remains dating back to Roman times. Check out the Roman Amphitheatre of Tarragona which was built in the 2nd Century. Other interesting places to visit to learn more about Tarragona's history are the Port area of Tarragona and the harbour museum. This museum explores Tarragona's close relationship with the sea through its maritime, trade and fishing heritage.

Shopping

For those visitors who book a vacation rental in Tarragona and who prefer shopping to culture the best of Tarragona's shops are to be found around the picturesque Rambla Nova. There are some delightful shops including unique boutique clothes shops, jewellers, accessory shops and many excellent shoe shops. Tarragona's main market, Mercat Central, can be found just off Rambla Nova within a 1915 Modernist building designed by Joseph Pujol. If you book a self-catering holiday apartment rental or a holiday villa rental Spain you will be interested to know that the opening hours for shops here are from 10am to 10pm Mondays to Saturdays, closed Sundays.

Eating Out and Tarragona Cuisine

You won't be disappointed in Tarragona's choice of restaurants if you book a self-catering holiday apartment rental. Tapas Bars are plentiful in the Rambla Nova area, as well as the interesting Placa de la Font, where you will find many cafes and restaurants. You can also find some interesting bars and seafood restaurants in the Port area near the marina. Seafood is particularly good here, especially the seafood paella. Cassola de Romesco is a Tarragona speciality dish and is essentially a casserole with tomato nut sauce. Tarragona is also known for its fine wine. Do bear in mind that the Spanish eat dinner very late in the evening, often around 9pm or later.

Building Human Pyramids

Another interesting feature of this area of Spain is the sport of building human pyramids! Castellers have been building human pyramids here, some as high as five-story buildings, for hundreds of years. If you book your holiday apartment rental or villa vacation rental in Tarragona during the Sant Magi festival in mid-August you will see them in action! If you visit Tarragona in February you will catch the Carnaval Celebrations which last for a week and include parades featuring colourful costumes, a variety of foods, music, dancing, and the crowning of the carnival King and Queen.

Your Greece Vacation

Greece is famous for hosting the Olympics, but they also have many other things to offer visitors, including science, drama, philosophy, and art. Fifteen million tourists take a Greece vacation every single year. When taking a holiday in Greece, you will find that most of the attractions are centered in Athens, but there are outside areas that offer you just as much to look at. Here are some things that you should be sure to see when you discover Greece.

1. Acropolis. This is the most famous attraction in Greece, so you will want to be sure to add it to your list first when you discover Greece. You will be in awe of the retelling of the Olympian legends and the stunning majesty of the Parthenon.

2. Ancient Agora. Below the Acropolis, you will find these ruins where philosophy greats Socrates and Plato taught and talked. On the western hill of the site, you will find the Temple of Hephaestos. There are even some trees and shrubs that are just as old as the ruins in this area.

3. Athens helicopter tour. On your holiday in Greece, you can board a helicopter and fly over the major spots. This can give you an unusual view of the attractions and it will only take about 30 minutes. This is a great way to get some unique pictures that you will enjoy.

4. Hellenic National League football game. This is called soccer in the United States, but it is football all over the rest of the world. This game is a fun and rowdy way to see how the locals cheer their favorite team on and is an activity that you do not want to miss.

5. Athens Marathon. If you happen to take a Greece vacation during the month of November, then you can sign up to run in the Athens Marathon. It follows the same path as the Olympic marathon that was run. What a fun and exciting activity for you to do!

6. Volunteer. Many organizations need your help to do projects all over Greece. These include the ARCHELON Sea Turtle Society. Look online and see if there are some opportunities to use your talents and skills on your vacation in Greece.

7. National Archaeological Museum. Schliemann's Agamemnon is displayed here. It is thought to be the death mask of the king that dates back to the 16th century B.C. The controversy comes in due to the fact that the Trojan War did not start until the 20th century, which would mean that the mask is not Agamemnon's at all. People still flock to this museum to see the ancient artifacts, however.

8. Hiking the Vindos Gorge. The Guinness Book of World Records has named this gorge as the deepest one in the world. You will find unique plants and trees on your hike down into the canyon. It may be hot and humid when you begin your hike, but it will get cooler when you begin to go down into the canyon, due to the fact that the cliffs shade you from the sun.

9. Crete beaches. The German and British people have long enjoyed the beaches in Crete. You will find that the nightlife in this country is very wild and exciting. The refreshing Mediterranean breeze will add to the relaxing feel of these beautiful beaches.

10. Rockwave Festival. This music festival lasts for three days and features many different artists and bands that perform. There are different stages for different musical genres, including blues, dance music, and more. This can be the perfect top off to the historical knowledge that you have learned.

Rocky Hill was also voted the No1 SportsTown in Connecticut by the Sports Illustrated, due to the high involvement of residents with sports and the appreciation of athletic activities. Rocky Hill boasts a large number of well appointed facilities, while many sport events take place in this town.

Rocky Hill is not just a sports town though; there are numerous places of interest in the area, with the Dinosaur State Park being the most significant among them. This is the largest dinosaur track existing in Northern America, thus, it's not surprising that is visited by numerous travelers and tourists every year. It is a 63-acre state park featuring dinosaur fossils in sandstone dating a few million years ago. The findings and exhibits come from the Jurassic era and are considered to be among the most well preserved fossils in the world.

Among the other points of attraction and interest in the area, are the Connecticut Library, which is for blind and handicapped people and the Glastonbury Ferry, the oldest ferry in the USA, continuously running for several decades.

Murcia Holidays-Holiday Attractions of Murcia and Cartagena

Murcia is one of the smallest regions in Spain and is located in the southeast of the country on the Mediterranean coast between Andalucia, Castilla La Mancha and Valencia. There is only one province in Murcia unlike most other regions of Spain, which means the whole region is operated by the one local government. The capital of Murcia region is the inland city of Murcia itself, and the other important city in the region is the coastal city of Cartagena, and the region's most important port.

The spoken language in Murcia is quite different from many other parts of Spain and has some similarities with neighbouring Andalucia. Many words are cut short by eliminating final consonants and utilising many regional words that stem from old Arabic words. The result can be quite confusing for native Spanish speakers and tourists alike.

Mar Menor and La Manga
Mar Menor, or Little Sea as it is also known, is Europe's largest salt-water lagoon. 170 square kilometres of warm, shallow salt water surrounded by sandy beaches. It is an ideal retreat for families with small children, as the water doesn't get any deeper than 7 metres throughout the whole of the lake. The lake is separated from the Mediterranean Sea by a spit of land called La Manga, 24 kilometres long and offering unlimited sandy beaches with crystal clear water perfect for swimming, snorkelling and scuba Diving. Mar Menor is the perfect destination for anyone interested in any kind of water sport and there are plenty of schools offering everything from windsurfing, water-skiing, jet-skiing and fly-surfing to diving, sailing and canoeing.

Murcia Capital
Murcia is the capital city of this region of Spain. With a population of just over 400,000 people, it ranks as the 12th largest city in Spain. The climate varies greatly throughout the year with extreme temperatures during the summer, and relatively mild winters with the possibility of frost. With the very low level or precipitation, Murcia has sunshine virtually every day of the year.

Murcia cathedral is one of the main city attractions, and was created in 1394 in the place where an Arab mosque once stood. The interior is Gothic with a Baroque facade and its tower of 95 metres high took over two hundred years to build and involved many different architects and styles.

Cartagena city
Cartagena is an important naval seaport to the Spanish and one of the most important in Spain. There are many naval ships here and many of the buildings surrounding the port belong to the navy, including a good museum for those interested in its history. Due to Cartagena's location on the Mediterranean Sea, the port has been very important throughout the ages and the ruins of many castles and forts can be found high up on the surrounding hills once lending support to its defence.

Cartagena is an historic city with many wonderful buildings to view, within easy walking distance from the centre of the city. The weather is typically hot with plenty of sunshine and the city offers plenty of bars and restaurants around the many parks and squares to take in the slow and relaxed atmosphere Cartagena has to offer.

Murcia Holiday Attraction
Only recently has major property development started to take hold in the region. Many holidaymakers are starting to see the attraction of the region, which offers wonderful weather, endless beaches of fine sand and spectacular scenery on the Costa Calida, which is also called the 'Warm Coast'.

Away from the coast, the terrain changes to high cliffs with stunning scenery and wonderful natural spaces, many of which are protected to preserve their natural beauty and wildlife. Murcia is a great location for anyone wanting an outdoor holiday with plenty of available activities. For walking, mountain biking or horse riding there are plenty of designated walks and pathways with maps obtainable from the local tourist office. For more adventurous activity holidays there is white-water canoeing, rock climbing, paragliding and deep-sea diving to name but a few.

Make the Most of Your New Zealand Winter Holiday

Winter in New Zealand is different from many parts of the world, where they lie under snow for months on end. Apart from the peaks of our Southern Alps, and the North Island's small group of volcanoes - Ruapehu, Tongariro and Ngauruhoe, snow very rarely sits anywhere for more than a few days at a time, even in the depths of winter.

New Zealand has a temperate climate - which means it doesn't get excessively hot in summer (most of the time) and equally, doesn't get incredibly cold in winter, despite the fact that it's the last populated country en route to Antarctica.

The southernmost parts of the South Island can certainly feel the bite of southerly winds blowing up from the Ice, but overall, New Zealand is an easy place to spend a holiday - no matter what time of year it is.

Having said that, there are some key things to remember if you plan on having a wonderful winter holiday in New Zealand.

There may not be snow on the ground, but there will be plenty of rain, possibly hail from time to time, and occasional fog.
There will also be a high likelihood of frost, especially if you are anywhere from Lake Taupo south. The great thing about frosty days, is that almost without exception, they turn into a beautiful blue sky, sunny day once the icicles have thawed.
So pack warm clothes and head for the places you can really enjoy the best of winter outdoors - the snow fields and skating rinks.
Make sure your hire vehicle comes with chains if you are headed anywhere near the mountains - and make sure you know how to put them on the car or van.
Try to plan your driving so you are travelling during daylight hours - and remember it gets dark by about 5.30pm in mid-winter.

Skiers and Snowboarders Welcome

New Zealand is very well endowed with great ski areas - most of them in the South Island, including the largest ski area with the longest season in Australasia, Mt Hutt. In all, the province of Canterbury has 18 ski fields, if you include the commercial fields of Hutt, Porters Pass, Mt Lyford, Round Hill, Mt Dobson and Ohau, as well as a range of club fields and heli-skiing opportunities.

Further south, Queenstown and Wanaka are the dominant players, boasting Treble Cone and Cardrona at Wanaka, and Coronet Peak and the Remarkables in Queenstown.

Perhaps the most amazing thing about all of these ski fields is that they are at most a day's drive from the furthest north, to the furthest south. So you have plenty of options within driving distance should one field be closed.

A great way to follow the best snow conditions and combine your transport and accommodation into one, is to hire a six berth campervan and get a group of your friends together for the trip. You can park at the bottom of the ski field road and take a shuttle up to the top, or with fields like Coronet that have fully sealed roads all the way up the mountain, you can easily drive your campervan up to the carpark, so it can act as your base for the day's activities.

If you are hiring a campervan for your winter holiday, make sure you check out these winter driving tips from the New Zealand Automobile Association - and most importantly, remember that in New Zealand we drive on the left hand side of the road!

To buy ski passes and get all the information you need to plan your trip, visit ski-newzealand.co.nz for information and prices on ski areas throughout the South Island, gear hire packages and more.

Skiing and snowboarding are not the only fun winter activities to be had in the South Island - outdoor ice-skating is another option.

For the full winter wonderland experience, you really can't beat the South Island's Lake Tekapo mid winter. Not only do you have a great learners ski field at Round Hill, there's the Southern Alps backdrop all around, the stunning aqua coloured water of the lake, and the perfect combo of skating rink and hot pools at Alpine Springs and Spa. Local teams play ice hockey on the rink and it's a favourite for recreational skating with travelers too. This great facility also offers snow tubing, for anyone who wants winter fun with absolutely no prior experience required.

There are plenty of other activities to be enjoyed on a crisp winter's day too - a few rounds of golf on some of the world's most beautiful golf courses, doing the winery tours, which are to be enjoyed year round and of course enjoying the many cafes, bars and eating establishments around the country. If you are planning a trip to NZ in winter, the Tourism New Zealand website is a great place to start.

Over the Hill on a 50th Birthday - Homemade Crafts

The 50th birthday is often seen as a huge milestone in anyone's life. It is so special that it actually has a name; over the hill. You are over the hill and starting the remainder of your life when you hit 50. At least that is the consensus with most people. Whether or not they want to celebrate it, it is imperative that you do something special for your friend or family member on such a monumental occasion.

Although you can certainly buy them a card or present, nothing beats the creativity and thought that goes into handcrafting something on your own. The most memorable gifts are often in this fashion. A great idea for something homemade to celebrate the 50th birthday of a friend or family member is to make a party hat. Even if they aren't having a party, this can still be a fun gift to spring on your friend. You can easily make one of these out of construction paper by taping the two ends together, lengthwise. Then, on the paper, write a big '50'. Or, you could write 'over the hill.' Try to get them to wear it all day.

If you still want to buy store bought gifts for them, you can still personalize it with handmade crafts. Gift tags are great because they are easy to make and very thoughtful. Colorfully write the name of your friend on the tag, as well as your name to indicate who the gift is friend. The more creative you are, the better.

The ULTIMATE Romantic Movies Of All Times cardinal 2/4

Hi guys! If you are looking for a great ROMANTIC movie DONT LOOK ANY FURTHER!!! Perhaps you 'd like to try something new, or youve seen a movie long, long time ago and remember it only vaguely. Well, I almost guarantee, you will find it HERE! Now, about this video: One evening I was looking for a nice romantic movie/ comedy preferably/ something I could enjoy and relax by. All the movies I have at home, I know by heart, and I found many. I thought that perhaps someone out there might be looking for the same thing as me, and I thought I might just as well make it easy for you. This is the result of hours and hours of search on the internet and elsewhere. It is IN an ALPHABETICAL ORDER (number 1 is A to H, number 2 is I to S, number 3 is S to Y and Period Romances & Dramas ) therefore easy if youre looking for something specific. If not, just have a look and I guarantee there must be at least one or two movies you havent seen. I'm also aware that some of you will find quite a few movies NOT included... it's virtually impossible to include all the romantic movies there are out there (otherwise you wont be watching 3 videos, but 50!! LOL ) You see, until I started on this project, I didnt realise how many romantic movies there are out there. Initially, I was hoping it would all fit into one video, well, that was very naïve of me. I'd be lucky if it fits into THREE, so please, if you don't find what youre looking for here, look into the next two THE ULTIMATE ROMANTIC MOVIES ...

Cape Verde All Inclusive Holidays - Have a Desert Island Holiday

The Cape Verde islands are a unique archipelago sitting in warm Atlantic waters off the coast of West Africa. It is little wonder then that British tour operators are offering holiday makers the chance to explore these newly emerging islands and within a year of the first flights from the UK, Cape Verde all inclusive holidays are available as if they had always been an option.

The main island is Sal, situated in the North Eastern side of the Islands. It is, quite literally, a desert island. The result of the almost year round sunshine and cool breezes from the Sahara make Sal a unique holiday destination.

With 350 days of sunshine a year and temperatures ranging from 23 degrees in winter to a reasonable 28 degrees in summer, many would be thinking that Sal is the next Tenerife, only with better year round weather prospects, warmer seas, great snorkelling and less tourism to spoil it. If you want to visit these islands before they become over developed then now is the time. There is plenty to see as well. Why not watch the turtles lay eggs on the beach, or swim in the lagoon in the north of the island. Hire a car and explore. It is a truly unique island.

There are direct flights from Gatwick and Manchester airport with some operators offering direct flights from Glasgow, Belfast and Birmingham. Cape Verde all inclusive Holidays are an ideal solution for those who want to know exactly what they are spending and Sal offers a wide choice at competitive prices.
