Ooty - the most popular Hill Station in South India

Introduction

Ooty is a part of Tamil Nadu, South India is by far one of the most beautiful hill stations and popular in the south. No wonder why it is popularly known as the 'Queen of hill stations'. Known to few, was originally the name and sometimes Udhagamadalam Ootacamund Ooty. Ootacamund Ooty is just a short form. Ooty is situated at an altitude of 8000 meters above sea level and is a part of the famous Nilgiri Mountainin South India. Like many other hill stations in India, Ooty was founded by the British in the 19th century. The place had served as a summer residence for the British in the old days. The climate is generally pleasant all year round, but could fall as low aero degree Celsius in winter. The place attracts tourists all year and has always been a preferred access point for many. The beautiful scenery, tea gardens, huts and housesaround the mountain regions and the growing fog of the Greens to Ooty a little paradise in the south.

It 'was the establishment of tea plantations and estates Ooty famous as a popular tourist destination. Thick forests and vast acres of beautiful tea gardens adorn the evergreen Ooty lengths and widths. Getting there

Ooty is accessible to tourists by air, rail and road. Whatever means of transport can be once you have the fresh smell of the wind and the cold air will refresh your senses as the distance traveledtraveled was just nothing.

By Air: The nearest airport to Ooty is Coimbatore, which is about 3 hours by car. There are frequent flights to Coimbatore from most parts of the country. Air India, Jet Airways, Go Air, Paramount and Air Deccan are a couple of airlines that can be named. You also have the opportunity to fly to Bangalore and drive to Ooty, which is about 6 hours by car. The journey by road from one of these places is very picturesque as the road to taketend to Ooty through dense forests and roads.

By train: No. 2671, Mettupalayam to the Nilgiri Express leaves this is a small village at the foot of the Nilgiris in Chennai. Since this is only an overnight trip, the most scenic adventures lost. However, a good sleep before you get there is always a good idea. May choose to drive from Mettupalayam to Ooty is a diesel mini-train, which is over 200 years and it takes longerto its destination. If you are lucky you may spot some of the animals that live around this area, such as the spotted dear, elephants, tigers and monkeys. There are Dhabas and restaurants on the street, so you can always stop on the way to grab a quick bite or relax. You can alsohave the opportunity to travel by bus or a taxi or mini-buses that shuttle buses to Ooty and return often to have. Travelling by road is the most preferred, because the roads are good, hard beauty and affordability.

Chestnuts

We have all heard of roasting chestnuts over an open fire, but how many of you have really tried? Cook Chef Jason Hill shares some information on how to roast chestnuts. The chestnuts are in season from September to February here in the U.S. and grew on trees in the United States, Europe and Asia. When selecting fresh chestnuts, in search of beautiful plump specimens that are free of bruises with shiny brown shells. But how to roast chestnuts? I just grab a sharp knife and an averageX on the flat side of each chestnut. We do this so that the shell did not explode when heated. Next, fill a bowl with cold water and let the nuts of about 20 minutes. Preheat oven to 400 F or you will get nice and roaring fireplace. Pour the nuts and sprinkle on a baking sheet, X side up. Roast for about 12-18 minutes, or until the peels curl a little 'and the nuts are soft. Chestnuts roasted on an open fire in a pan with long handle (non-stick is not recommended), apopcorn or roasted chestnut. Some people recommend the pan. Roast for about 20 minutes, or until the shells curl and the nuts are soft. We hope this fun holiday tradition. Chestnut uses abound, ranging from salt or dipped in sour cream, place in Turkey, stuffing or candied. Have fun!

Pachmarhi Hill Station

Pachmarhi is one of the most popular tourist destinations of Madhya Pradesh. This beautiful site button is located at an altitude of about 3, 555 meters and is surrounded by beautiful landscapes of the Satpura Hills. This exotic and inviting place to Pachmarhi invites tourists from all over the world to explore the unknown world and untapped natural habitats.

This is known as the "Queen of Satpura 'for its exotic and spectacular natural landscapesnatural beauty. Pachmarhi is surrounded by evergreen hills of the Satpura range. The hill station is surrounded by lush green forests, canyons and rocky hills, with quiet pools and several waterfalls.
